Sylvan Street Grille: A Culinary Haven for Seafood and American Classics

Attractive and vibrant sports bar-casual eatery with varied menu and daily specials. portions are generous and the food is pretty good although some items deserve a bit more attention on the kitchen. We eat here with friends primarily because it is half-way between Mass. and Maine homes, but it is good enough that we keep coming back.

Food is pretty good. Service was good except for one of our group didn't get his meal until way after the rest of us did. Obviously they forgot to cook his meal. But stuff happens.... Good for a large group like we had because it is always loud in there so we didn't feel bad if we got a little loud ;) They let us bring our own cake which was appreciated.

Delicious lunch of fried haddock. Jonathan was very friendly, attentive, & courteous. Wonderful experience!

Love this restaurant! They take reservations, the food amazing and plentiful, the service outstanding! Also taking special care of my food sensitivity. Tried Sylvan Street Grilled for the first time on a busy Saturday night. I was pleasantly surprised that despite it being a busy night there was still plenty of parking. They have tons of seating and there was no wait time for my party of 2. The serice was prompt; we ordered several drinks, apps and everything came out in good time. The menu is huge, it was hard to decide what to get so we ended up trying 3 different apps and we got a few different drinks and 2 main courses. The food blew us away, everything was fresh and so full of flavor. They have lots of TVs so you get a good view of the games from any table. The sound level is loud enough where you can hear your table mates but not really hear others conversations. We were too full to try the deserts but they looked really good when we saw them go out to other tabels. Despite how much we ordered and the large portion sizes the price was incredibly reasonable. I'd definetly go back again, I recommend you do too. Make sure you show up hungry!

Very large menu and plenty of seating and we still waited for about 15 minutes. It was worth the wait. We had a couple of apps loaded potatoe skins and steak and cheese egg rolls, both delicious. The steak tips with garlic mashed potatoes and zucchini was on and the steak fajitas were just as good.

Sylvan street grill has been my most favorite restaurant since I’ve first tried it back in 2015. Ten on-going years and that thought has never changed. The lighting is just perfect and the seats are so comfy, it creates such a warm comforting atmosphere. The servers have always been so kind with a smile on their face every time they came by. If my water was ever empty my next blink it would be full again. For it being a very popular filled place, the food always came out fast and I was never left sitting there hungry. The food is just so delicious, from their salads to their wings to their loaded potatoes, to their burgers. Nothing there dissatisfies me. Definitely my number one restaurant recommendation

A very good place for gathering. Good food, great service, a large selection of drinks. Lot of sports of tv monitors. I had the Fisherman‘a Catch. They were very tasty. The place was almost full by 12:30. Specially around the bar. But it was not noisy at all.
